The SCMC contributed to the agenda and the Exhibit Hall experience during the Department of Energy's annual national small business event, held May 2018 in Houston.
The Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association held its first-ever New Mexico Federal Business Opportunities Forum in Albuquerque, N.M., March 6, 2018. The Supply Chain Management Center used the opportunity to participate and visit with current and potential suppliers in the region. The SCMC also attended similar events hosted by regional Procurement Technical Assistance Centers last spring in Boise, Idaho, and Kennewick, Wash.
Hosted by the Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association Oct. 13-15, 2016, the conference included the SCMC and hundreds of registered attendees from a variety of environmental, energy, engineering, construction and other technical services companies, agencies and organizations across the country.
On Dec. 7, 2016, attendees of this webinar learned how the SCMC can support the Hanford prime contractors' strategic sourcing efforts, how it can provide opportunities for their businesses to grow regionally and nationally, and what participating in an SCMC eSourcing event looks like.
SCMC partnered with U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich and the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) Oct. 19, 2016, to host a standalone small business information meeting with more than 90 attendees.
This first of its kind event captured feedback from New Mexico small businesses and shared information about the NNSA's SCMC, which is managed by Honeywell under the Kansas City National Security Campus contract.
